London Fog
Dara
AP435 - 1CD - 56' - Oct 2, 2026

Around a London Fog, two voices and a piano speak across the centuries.

In the intimacy of an English drawing room, a soprano, a contralto and a pianist come together over a cup of London Fog. For their debut album, Dara brings different eras and voices into dialogue through folksongs, Purcell songs arranged by Britten, and two solo piano pieces. Fragments of life. Confidences shared. Stories of women facing absence or solitude, whose words have crossed centuries without losing any of their power. Heather Newhouse, Anthea Pichanick and Justine Eckhaut carry this narrative with equal voices, bringing the delicacy and restraint that give the English vocal tradition its enduring strength.
